Okay, so this isn’t really whiskey related but we do the occasional review of other spirits. I enjoy a good brandy from time to time. I’ve had the entire standard range of Pierre Ferrand and it’s all quite good. Matt got to sample their 45 and 70 year old cognacs at WhiskyFest NYC 2009 and I think it ruined him for other brandy. We also get so few Atlanta spirit related events that I thought I’d pass this on.
Thursday, February 4th, Tower Wine and Spirits will be hosting a Pierre Ferrand Cognac Dinner at Paul’s Restaurant in Buckhead. It starts at 6:30 PM and is $50 a person. I sadly won’t be able to make it but maybe some of our Atlanta readers will be able to make the event and let us know how it is.
